Fight 5

Eric Reynolds vs Thomas Schulte

Round 1- Both figthers exchanged blows on their fet for the first minute, until Sculte took Reynolds down and got him mounted rather easily. Hereigned down a few blows and then went for an arm bar, but wasnt able to get it. Schule got the side mount again moments later, but didnt do much with it. Not mch action on the ground, they are fighting for position.

Reynolds changed this fight in a hearbeat and I dont think Schulte saw it coming. Reynolds got top position, but Schulte had the full guard and could have defended well. Reynolds reigned down a few good blows to the face, then deadlifted him and slammed Schulte on the mat. A few more good blows and you could see Schulte sensing he was in troubule. Schulte countered for a moment and almost reversed into an arm bar.

Reynolds barely escaped, but when he did the fighters stood back up and started exchanging blows. Reynolds landed a few jabs, and then a huge right hook sent Schulte flying to the mat. Reynlods followed up with a few more blows, and the ref called the fight. Schulte looked like he was in a good bit of pain and had one of his trainers help him out of the cage and he looked like he was limping a little heading to the locker room.

Good fight and Reynolds got mad and “let the dogs go” (in his words!)
